Concussion Rehab
Concussion rehabilitation is a physical therapy specialty that targets symptoms experienced following a concussion. Physical therapy can improve a concussion patient’s speed of physical, emotional, and cognitive recovery. Concussion symptoms can include fatigue, light and noise sensitivity, blurry vision, eye strain/headaches, double vision or difficulty with driving, reading, school work, and more cognitive tasks. Concussion rehab can be a combination of treating the visual system, vestibular system, improving steadiness on your feet, and treating musculoskeletal dysfunctions (i.e. neck pain).
