Touchstone PT

Thomas Rados, PT, DPT

Physical therapy has been a part of my life since I was a child. I have many memories of my uncle, the first physical therapist I knew, treating my family members at family gatherings. Even as a child it fascinated me how just a few minutes of hands on treatment could completely change someone’s mood and understanding of how to take care of themselves.

Physical activity and participation in athletics was also engrained in my upbringing, as both of my parents were black belts in karate, lifted weights, and attended workout classes regularly. Watching them taught me the importance of health and longevity.  I wanted to be able to do physical activities l loved for as long as I could. Throughout my life I have competed competitively in lacrosse, jiu jitsu, soccer, swimming, basketball, and baseball.  When my mother got Lyme disease a decade ago which attacked her joints and caused systemic arthritis, I witnessed the impact of a debilitating condition which robbed her of her ability to use her body in the ways she loved. The tremendous help she received from physical therapy along with the effort she put into her recovery is really what inspired me to pursue it as a career.

What I love about physical therapy is the impact I can have on a patient’s whole life, rather than just their condition. I can help them return to activities they never thought they’d be doing again, inspire them to practice healthier lifestyle choices, or even something as simple as allow them sleep throughout the night without waking up due to pain. It is a great feeling to treat someone and learn that I have made a positive impact.

I began my physical therapy career in 2012 as an aide at Touchstone Physical Therapy and Wellness. Seeing how former owner Kelly interacted with his patients, the environment he cultivated, and the respect his patients had for him inspired me to one day have my own practice. It is an honor and privilege to be following in his footsteps, taking the Touchstone brand and culture into the future.

Because I love being near the water, I attended St. Mary’s College of MD for undergraduate and earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in Bay Shore, NY in 2019. When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time in nature with my wife and dog, traveling, working out, hiking, snowboarding, watching comedy, listening to podcasts, expanding my PT and wellness knowledge, finding new and interesting places to eat, and spending time with family and friends.

I am a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist and Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Specialist.

Christina Eidi, PT, DPT

I am a physical therapist with 5 years of outpatient experience under my belt, treating a variety of orthopedic conditions with a particular passion for spinal disorders and active populations. I also have experience in the home care setting working primarily with neurologic conditions. I’ve pursued continuing education courses including Michigan State’s osteopathic manual medicine program and dry needling to enhance my skills and provide the best care for my patients.

Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, I grew up dancing, and running on the high school track team. My interest in Physical Therapy began when I suffered a leg injury while running on the track team. After completing physical therapy and experiencing its power I knew I wanted to help people and that this was what I wanted to do. I graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in Bayshore, NY in 2019 and with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland in 2014. My career has taken me through various exciting places, including Washington, D.C., and Colorado, before bringing me back home to Maryland.

When I’m not in the clinic, you can find me hiking with my husband and our dog, weightlifting, rock climbing, trying new restaurants or enjoying quality time with family and friends.

Natalie Rivers, PT, DPT

At a young age I fell in love with fitness, nutrition and training the body to perform at its best through my love of soccer and running.  After graduating from Salisbury University, I began working in the advertising industry.  As a side job, I also worked as a personal trainer and spin instructor.  The advertising industry never excited me as much as working with clients to reach their fitness goals.  A strong desire to help people on a therapeutic level drew me into physical therapy.  I suffered several knee injuries that required surgery, and deeply respected the process of skilled rehab.  I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Howard University in 2016. No matter the goal, I am devoted to helping individuals reach their prior level of fitness and beyond.

Rachel Wheatley, PT Aide

I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland, College Park and am graduating in May 2025. In June 2025, I will attend Physical Therapy School at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, lifting weights, and running half marathons.

Katie O’Rourke, PT Aide

I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Psychology. I plan on going to PT school after completing the prerequisite courses. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and exercising in my free time.

Jackson, Quality Control

Jackson is a crucial part of the Touchstone Physical Therapy and Wellness team. While patients are seen during the day, Jackson is often at home resting or hanging out with his grandparents getting plenty of attention. After hours or on weekends, Jackson is known to scour the clinic and sniff in every crevice of the gym, making sure all of the new smells are allowable, and all of the equipment is in its rightful place. Jackson’s hobbies include running in the woods, getting pets from anyone willing to provide them, basking in the sun, and protecting the house from delivery drivers.
